Olerin Terms of Service

Draft for attorney review — not yet in effect

Effective date: [DATE — set at launch]
Contact: support@olerinhealth.com

These terms are the agreement between you and Olerin [ENTITY NAME — LLC pending] governing your use of the Olerin app and related services. Plain language is used deliberately; the plain meaning is the intended meaning.

1. What Olerin is — and is not

Olerin is a personal health record-keeper: a tool for tracking supplements, peptides, medications, lab results, health metrics, and how you feel, and for organizing, charting, and exporting that record.

Olerin is not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dosing recommendations. Nothing in the app — including reference library entries, charts, calculated conversions, and Ask Olerin responses — is medical advice or a substitute for the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. The reconstitution calculator performs arithmetic on numbers you enter; it does not recommend doses. Ask Olerin describes your own recorded data; it is designed to decline requests for medical guidance. Decisions about substances, dosing, starting, stopping, or combining anything are yours and your clinician's alone.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services. Do not rely on Olerin.

2. Your account

You must be at least 17 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for maintaining access to your sign-in method, and for the security of your device (Olerin offers an optional biometric app lock; using it is your choice). One account per person; you may sign in by email, Apple, Google, or phone number.

3. Your data and your license to us

Everything you enter remains yours. You grant Olerin the limited license necessary to store, process, display, and transmit your data solely to operate the service described in these terms and the Privacy Policy — including transmitting content to our AI service provider when you use the chat or PDF-import features. This license ends when you delete the data or your account, except for minimal records we must retain for legal compliance.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Olerin to break the law, to harm others, to probe or breach the service's security, to scrape or resell the service, or to upload content you lack rights to. Olerin tracks what you choose to track; the legality of any substance you use is your responsibility, and tracking something in Olerin conveys no endorsement, legality assessment, or safety assessment of it.

5. Subscriptions

Olerin's core tracker is free. Pro features (if and when offered) are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's App Store: pricing is shown before purchase, payment is charged to your Apple account, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Free-tier limits and Pro feature boundaries may be adjusted prospectively; active paid subscriptions keep the features they were sold with for the paid period.

6. Health data disclaimers

Charts, trends, correlations, and summaries in Olerin are descriptive presentations of data you entered or connected — they are not clinical interpretations. Lab reference ranges shown are those reported by your lab or entered by you. Apple Health data is read as reported by your device and its sources; Olerin does not validate its accuracy. Gaps, device errors, and entry errors happen; verify anything important against original sources before acting on it.

7. Service changes and availability

Olerin is provided as-is and as-available. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change, improve, or be discontinued. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will provide reasonable advance notice and a window to export your data.

8. Termination

You can stop using Olerin at any time, and delete your account in-app (Profile → Delete account) — deletion is immediate and permanent, per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: OLERIN IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. OLERIN IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR HEALTH OUTCOMES, DECISIONS, OR ACTIONS TAKEN IN RELIANCE ON INFORMATION DISPLAYED BY THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF FIFTY DOLLARS ($50) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID OLERIN IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; THESE APPLY ONLY AS PERMITTED.

10. Disputes

[ATTORNEY TO COMPLETE: governing law (New Jersey anticipated), venue, arbitration clause decision (include/exclude, class-action waiver, small-claims and opt-out carve-outs per current enforceability standards).]

11. Changes to these terms

Material changes will be notified in-app before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version lives at olerinhealth.com/terms.
